At Stand Up and Speak, our Senior Confident Communicators: Sept Saturday 2:00 PM course, students in Grades 10 to 12 will learn to build confidence through the core fundamentals of powerful speaking.

Signs of Nervousness and Impromptu Speaking
Students learn to recognize and manage common signs of nervousness, including rocking, fidgeting, speaking too quickly, forgetting words, avoiding eye contact, and using filler words.
Skills:
Managing speaking anxiety
Confident posture and eye contact
Speaking for 60 seconds without preparation
Using impromptu structures
Reducing "um," "like"" and "you know"
