At Stand Up and Speak, our Intermediate Confident Communicators: Sept 2pm course, students in Grades 7 to 9 will learn to build confidence through the core fundamentals of powerful speaking.

Students learn to recognize and manage common signs of nervousness, while learning the art of impromptu speaking.

Managing speaking anxiety
Confident posture and eye contact
Speaking for 2 minutes without preparation
Using PREP, PEEL and other impromptu structures
Reducing “um,” “like” and “you know”
