Stand Up and Speak’s Adult Confidence Builder program is designed for professionals, parents, and community leaders in Ontario who want to strengthen their communication skills. Through coach-led sessions, you’ll practice public speaking in a supportive environment and learn techniques to manage nerves, structure speeches, and deliver with confidence.

Q1. How does the Adult Confidence Builder course work? A. It’s an in-person, coach-led program in Mississauga. You’ll practice real presentations, interviews, and impromptu speaking in a supportive, small-group setting with practical feedback each session.
Q2. Who is this program best for? A. Adults who want to build confidence for workplace presentations, job interviews, leadership communication, or community speaking. Shy or nervous speakers are welcome.
Q3. How long is the course and when are classes held? A. The Adult Confidence Builder runs for 4 weeks, with one 1-hour class per week. Classes are scheduled on weekends or weekday evenings, making it easy for working professionals to attend.
Q4. What skills will I learn? A. You’ll practice speech structure, clear delivery and voice, body language, storytelling, thinking on your feet, and strategies to manage nerves. The course is practical and focused on tools you can use right away in work and life.
Q5. Can I repeat the program or continue with coaching after it ends? A. Yes. Many adults repeat the program to keep progressing, and our coaches add new challenges for returning participants. You can also book one-on-one coaching for specific goals.
